Alaina Reed Hall's death this week may not get the attention that other celebrities who have passed this year have gotten, but she had my attention. She was like a second mom to me from almost 15 years. From my first memory of tv I remember Alaina as Olivia on Sesame Street. When I moved into my teens, Alaina was playing Rose on 227. I would see her pop up on tv from time to time after that on ER, Ally McBeal and others shows but it was my childhood memories of this talented actress playing such strong and sweet women on my tv screen I will remember. Rest In Peace Alaina!
