Gage Houser by LightWeaver

Jay A. Rickard (LightWeaver) has been professional photographer for close to 20 years. Jay says that working with models to develop their portfolios is by far where his greatest passion lies.

'Not just the greater creativity enjoyed by this work but also helping a model understand the business. I'm very honest with models and let them know that it takes far more than just being pretty and standing still for a photo.'

Jay says that very photographer in his or her career hopefully has had the experience of being overwhelmed by a muse.

'The first time Gage and I worked together it was a very spontaneously planned session. Honestly I didn't expect much, but that first shoot was the beginning of many. Every time he gets better and brings more to the table.'

'My whole life I have loved to be in front of the camera, even when I was little I would jump into other peoples pictures just so I could be in the shots'
