Bill Skarsgård: The IT Factor

'Adults are the real monsters.'
Stephen King, It

The Skarsgård family certainly hit the gene pool lottery. Father Stellan, and sons Alexander and Bill are all incredibly good looking.  Stellan's son have both followed his father's lead in taking it all off on film as well.  The first time I saw 26 year old Bill, it was in a nude scene in which he was on the receiving end of a blow job.  Sadly, Bill shares, (see below) IT wasn't all him, but he has still shown plenty of skin in movies and on television.

I have been planning on a feature on Bill Skarsgård for awhile now.  I even had a folder with his name in on my desk top.  Last week however, when seeing his promotional images for the upcoming re-make of Stephen King's IT, I knew the time was now.

It will be no easy task to match Tim Curry's terrify turn as Pennywise from the 1990 television mini series of King's novel.  I loved the book, and I loved the television version and hope Bill, and the script, are up to the task.  King's novels often play better in the mini-series format, with feature films having to cut big chunks of his novel due to time.  IT may be released in two or three parts which although annoying (aka Hunger Games) will serve the novel well.

About that scene where he’s naked and being fellated in ‘Behind Blue Skies’

'Yeah. I know it’s boring to say, but it’s really technical. It’s not mine. It’s all fake, basically. The scene wasn’t that hard to do, actually. I had no problem with it. And it’s good that it’s there because it kind of shocks the audience, and they have no clue where the film is going to end up. It’s like, 'What the hell is this?’ It’s a good scene. It’s important.'
