You're So Vein: Carlos by Greg Lindeblom

'It was one of those rare collaborations where we just let the mood and movement set the tone for the shoot.'

Florida photographer Greg Lindeblom is without a doubt, a connoisseur at capturing the male form. Each time I feature Greg's imagery, I am always visually impressed at Greg's skill and creativity in capturing the best moments and poses to spotlight his models.

In this series of images of Carlos, Greg uses a minimal set, classic male poses and angles to create images of artistry and sculpture. Almost every image of Carlos, and his rock hard physique, could beautifully be morphed into a rock hard stature or sculpture.

When I first saw Greg's images of Carlos, I didn't initially remember I had featured him once before. (Realization)  Carlos' hair is a bit different, but he has also been clearly working out, sculpting every inch of his incredible body.  Every muscle is tight, and Carlos' vein's, especially the ones running down his lower stomach and legs, beautifully highlight his dedication.

'I had the great pleasure of working with Carlos during his recent trip to Miami. He is a Venezuelan by birth, but has lived in the Netherlands for many years and is now a Dutch citizen. It was his first time in the area and he fell in love with the Miami vibe and environment.'

'Those good feelings definitely flowed over to our shoot. He was a dream to work with. Carlos is an experienced model who knows how to pose and move. His dance background was evident in our shoot. It was one of those rare collaborations where we just let the mood and movement set the tone for the shoot.  I'm looking forward to working the Carlos again and am delighted that he is so eager to come back to south Florida.'

Clint Eastwood: Four Decades of Ass

'I'd say get to work and start being more understanding of everybody—instead of calling everybody names, start being more understanding. But get in there and get it done. Kick ass and take names. And this may be my dad talking, but don't spend what you don't have.'

Yes, Clint Eastwood can be a bit of a douche at times, but at 86, I cut him a little slack. I read the entire Esquire article, and it wasn't nearly as bad as many are reporting. Eastwood, and son Scott are quite endearing together, and Scott clearly doesn't take after his dad politically. That however, is ok in 2016. Clint clearly did take after his father, his views socially and politically. Following in a parents footsteps, either with work, or with values and believes, used to be something far more common than todya.

I still like Clint, he was a favorite actor of my fathers. Although my father thinks very differently (thankfully) politically, he enjoyed his movies, and I enjoyed watching them with my father. Since Clint can be at times a political ass, my response is always to spotlight that ass. Clint showed his behind in three movies that I know of, in 1979, in 1984 and in 2000. Here are some highlights...

Escape From Alcatraz (1979)

Tightrope (1984)

Space Cowboys (2000)
