Favorite Pic of the Day for May 3rd

I have showcased the work of photographer Tony Veloz in the past, but this shot has got to be one my all time favorite shots he had done. This stunning shot of beautiful model Jehanzeb (T.H.E. Artist Agency) is just amazing! Makeup & Hair by Kim Gray and styling by Walter Reed

Happy Birthday today May 3rd to:

Happy Birthday today May 3rd to:

Love the talented Bobby Cannavale who turns 39 today.

Have to give a special mention today to actor and musician Chris Mulkey. Firstly because Chris is one of the most talented actors in the business and if you don't think you know who he is, just check out his IMDB page. Chris has more credits than almost anyone out there. Secondly as like many of you I am sure, we all had some great memories with our pause button during Chris's nude scene in Patti Rocks. Not only was it a great flick, but his nude scene was a pleasant surprise! Happy 62nd Chris!

Will We Love Phillip Morris?

"I Love You Phillip Morris" is based on a book by Houston Chronicle crime reporter Steve McVicker, the fact-based film casts Jim Carrey as Steven Russell, a married father whose exploits landed him in the Texas criminal justice system.
He fell madly in love with his cellmate, who eventually was set free, which led Russell to escape from Texas prisons four times. Favorites, Ewan McGregor and Rodrigo Santoro are also featured in the cast.

What is odd is the hold up for an American release. The film was released in Europe and Taiwan this year to generally good reviews. It wowed critics at last year's Sundance Film Festival. Damon Wise of The Times gave the film four stars out of five stating, "I Love You Phillip Morris is an extraordinary film that serves as a reminder of just how good Carrey can be when he's not tied into a generic Hollywood crowd-pleaser. His comic timing remains as exquisite as ever." Xan Brooks of The Guardian also gave the film a positive review, describing the movie as "fast, funny and rather daring. A whisk of caffeine with a center that's sweet"

Although a limited run in the United States was initially scheduled for April 30, 2010, it was later reported that the film's release had been indefinitely postponed by its distributors, Consolidated Pictures Group. A couple of weeks ago though, Variety announced the distributor had had a change of heart and that I Love You Phillip Morris would be shown in limited theaters starting July 30 before expanding nationwide on August 6. About Time!

Special Thanks to Braxnis for the great caps!!!

Introducing Michael Frascino

Actor Michael Frascino only has one acting credit on his resume, but he has already made an impression. Michael plays Tony in the recently released 'Neowolf'.
It is clear there will be many more credits to come.

From the official 'Neowolf' site:

"Michael Frascino makes his debut in a starring role as aspiring musician TONY. The male model originally, from Wilton, Connecticut, has studied acting in New York, Los Angeles and Florida. In addition to his starring role in NEOWOLF, he also makes his on-screen musical debut. His taste in music ranges from country to blue grass, Hip Hop to classic and alternative rock, and he also plays guitar. He says he was drawn to the character of TONY because, “He is somewhat of who I am, and I get to create a doomed hero and sing too!”

Thanks to 'gold' for the video download.

A Look Back: The Best of Michael Biehn

One of the things I think separates FH from some other blogs is my not just posting about the latest hot guy or thing, but also by taking a look back to the past. As someone whose teen years were in the 80's I know that for many of us, our taste in those we love begins at an early age. I find it interesting to look at some of the men we admire and love who helped form who we are today. That is why FH has several categories of posts from 'Blast From The Past' and 'flashback'. Although I don't make these posts as often as I used to, they remain some of my favorites.

One of the guys who motivated my look back was actor Michael Biehn. Michael has been a part of my motion picture viewing from as long as I can remember. From big budget flicks like Terminator and The Abyss to lower budget flicks like The Fan (so bad that it is so good, not to mention fun). Michael also was one of the first men I saw on screen baring his beautiful backside. As you can see from these early posts from 2007 & 2008 when I first began FH, I was long on picture posting and short on writing. That being said, it is always a good day to take a look back at the beautiful and talented actor Michael Biehn.

Last October I did a post about one of my favorite actors, Michael Biehn who I feel really deserved to have gained more fame and better roles in Hollywood. I had these caps by Alberto (thanks Alberto!) of Michael from his rarely seen film 'The Martyrdom of Saint Sabastian. thought I should finally post them.

Favorite 'Should be a superstar' Michael Biehn

Actor Michael Biehn should be a superstar. Sure he works steadily and is successful but with his great looks and great acting chops he should have been huge. Love him anyway.

Great Michael Site:

Michael Biehn has had many great performances, these three are not his best work, but for some reason they are my favorites:

Coach: Just silly fun.

The Terminator

The Fan: Trashy, Campy, so bad it is fun to watch
