Disqualified

Canadian Institute of Diversity and Inclusion

Ever since FH has been around, I have covered the Olympics and my favorite athletes from the games. Sports have always been an important part of my life, since I could walk it was hockey in the winter, basketball the fall and baseball in the summer. Like many, my interest in the games is low to non-existent this year. I would like to say I am making an loud official protest, but disqualifying myself from watching just sort of happened naturally. Throughout my life, I have always tended to distance myself from cruelty, I state what is bothering me and simply walk away. Some people scream from the rafters, others voice opposition and use their actions as much as their words.

Above: Charles Reid, Mark McMorris, Maxence Parrot and Sebastien Toutant.

My only regret is not being able to shed some light and attention on the athletes from the games. At the top of my list was going to be the Canadian men's snowboarding team. Athletic and adorable all, especially 21 year old Sebastien Toutant (below) from Montreal. Still lots of winter left in 2014! ;)

Bandwagon... Mounted

I tried to resist... Like the rest of you, I fell in lust when first seeing the image of Dan Osborne texting in his undies. I headed over to Casperfan and drooled and downloaded his nude scenes from TOWIE, (The Only Way Is Essex) the 'scripted' reality show Dan appears on. I began to put a story together for the blog, but in researching Dan I quickly saw his images were rightly so now EVERYWHERE so I dropped it. I know that I have this annoying tendency to not want to post images, and write about people who are already saturated enough on the web.

Dan would not allow it however. Even his speedo wearing appearances on the UK reality show SPLASH, and subsequent interviews on the show with Tom Daley I passed up. My God he made it hard, then appearing in the latest Naked issue of Attitude! Finally he broke me, not just by the site of his naked body but by that body, and that smile in motion through the gifs created by other lovers of Dan. One can only hold on so long before exploding!

Bed Bath And Beyond: Travis by Suntown Photography

'Every man has a right to a Saturday night bath.'
Lyndon B. Johnson

Whenever I profile the work of Suntown Photography, I look forward to spending time in the beautiful locations he shoots in and around his home near London England. Suntown has taken me, and of course his models, along with him to beautiful English countryside's, through overgrown secluded gardens, and in old dirty barns and sheds to shoot. This time, we are staying clean, squeaky clean, inside with 21 year Travis Hodge as he spends a leisurely evening at home.

'I think is it a real shame that guys who are naturally hairy, or have hairy legs, feel they have to cover up so as not to get disparaging remarks such as being told they look like a Gorilla or Wooky. I would rather see body hair to tattoos or body piercing any day.'

The quote above comes from the first piece I did on Suntown's work back in 2012. It was the natural, unencumbered and often beautifully retro, way Dave's eye catches his subjects that first drew me to his work. Travis certainly fits well with Dave's philosophy and I love his look, especially his brown eyes and curve of his lips. Travis looks almost like a hybrid of model Ben Godfre and the Creek's Dawson Leary.

Suntown reports the shoot took place in West London on a wet and miserable day this past January. Travis had done a couple of shoots before but was still fairly new to posing totally nude. Travis keep fit through sports and manages to schedule shoots in between finishing essays and attending classes at University.

'He's a really nice guy and great personality. I am certainly hoping to work with him again in the coming year/s and his pics will be appearing in my book "Young Otters 2" which will available late in 2014.'
