Come As You Aren't....

Happy Halloween!

'The reason I love Halloween is that unlike most holidays, Halloween is one you can make entirely your own. There are no pressures to decorate (which I do), or cook, (which I don't) there are no family meals or visits from the cousin you choose to avoid most of the rest of the year. There are no gifts to buy and there are not battles over whether the religious connection should or should not be in the play and you eat things you mostly try to avoid the rest of the year. Halloween is also the night you can dress as you would the rest of the year if only you could get away with it!'

I am sure most of you have had your fill of clowns, bears, witches and costumes on FH by now,
but if not, check out all my previous Halloween posts HERE:

FH:  Scaring the pants off as many men as possible every October since 2007!

Since 2012, JayBee (Frisky Frolic) has become a treasured addition and regular contributor to FH, especially around the holidays. It was just before Halloween that I came upon JayBee's work after googling the words 'naked ghost'. (The Phantom Phallus) Google must have a field day with how many fictional characters and supernatural figures, Superheros and cartoon characters I have searched for in the buff! My naked ghost search however, was more than successful as Frisky Frolic taps into the spirit and fun of holidays, like no other!

Earlier this year I asked Jay if he had a witch. As I noted in my Witch themed day last week, I have long wanted to include a male witch in the site's Halloween cast of characters. Jay was on the hunt, but as of the weekend, it didn't look like it was going to pan out. Then... out of dark sky, Jay found our witch, Atticus Zachary Bone, (Zach to us mortals) who flew in last night, just in the nick of time! Thanks to Jay, and to Zach for the last minute positive response to my Halloween party invitation!

Halloween Mystery.... Solved!

Over the past several years, I have featured images from this series during my Halloween posts. Each Halloween, I seemed to find another image from the set, but was not, until now, able to find the source. This year, by accident, I stumbled upon the answer.

While searching for images for my 'Vintage Vantage' I came upon an image with credited the shot to Fantasy Factory #1. The film was part of a series of films from Campfire Video featuring vintage clips. Campfire Video was one of the first sites I found focused on the male form in film when I first came on line, but I never made the connection before.

This scene, Trick or Treaters is part of FF#1 which features about a dozen or so different scenarios. In this scene, Sean Damore is exercising alone in his room (in a pouch as one does...) When David Jones comes trick or treating at his door. Damore decides he wants to play a trick which leads Jones to retaliate. The scene ends with Damore giving bad boy Jones a spanking before filling up his treat bag and sending him on his way.

Strangely, although they appear nude in the promotional pics, in the actual scene, both actors remain in their pouches during the scene. I tried to covert and make a small clip, but the video is an mkv and I could not convert it. I was able to play it fine on a VLC player and did upload it SENDSPACE HERE: if anyone wants to check it out. This scene is only a few minutes long, but the entire movie is about an hour.

The Sexualization of a Psychopath

'Did you know a young boy drowned the year before those two others were killed? The counselors weren't paying any attention... They were making love while that young boy drowned. His name was Jason.'
Mrs. Voorhees

Our Jock-strap wearing Jason from Kyle Anderson

I know many women and men crush over criminals, even murderers and serial killers. The Menendez Brothers, Ted Bundy, and Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev even made the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. It is more than their looks however, many killers, especially serial killers learn how to use, manipulate, even charm others to keep their grisly secrets hidden.

Then there's Jason... Jason Voorhees, a fictional machete dicing machine who has sliced, diced, quartered and beheaded over 150 people, most of them horny teenagers at Camp Crystal Lake. While I was planning my new Halloween pieces, I saw one of Kyle Anderson's new art pieces of Jason in his jock strap. I have profiled Kyle's work as both a model and artist before and although I knew I wanted to feature Kyle's image, I was just not sure how.

As I began to think of an angle, I thought of the previous versions of Jason I had featured. I have featured the hot young hunks Jason has murdered (The Climax Conclusion) but not the man behind the mask. Several photographers have had the model they were shooting put on the hockey mask, and take off the rest of their clothing for the shot. That had me googling Jason, and 'sexy Jason' and a wide variety of art work focused on the sexual side of our forest dwelling maniac popped up.

Like most troubled adults, Jason didn't have the easiest of childhoods. Physical deformities, mental disabilities and of course being raised by a mentally unstable mother who kept him isolated for most of his life didn't lead to a healthy sense of self. I never though, saw Voorhee's as particularly sexual, or even sexy with his rather boxy shape and clothing still awaiting their first visit inside a washing machine.

That's where an artist's imagination comes in though. With the right artist or photographer, Jason can visualized anyway they see him, leaner, hotter, less likely to slit your throat during sex... These visions of Jason don't necessarily bare much connection to the murderer in the movies, but he did inspire them and they have me viewing Mr. Voorhee's in an entirely different way...

I have not seen 'Friday the Fuckteenth', but the porn parody, and the images of it's hot camp counsellors were a required addition!

History of Horror Hunks:

The Pumpkin Carver

Given my love of Halloween, and of scary movies, horror hunks have been a frequent subject for me to post, and write about since the site's beginnings. My favorite horror movies include a dash of fear, a dash of male skin, and big dollop of camp. Sometimes, the lamer the movie, the more fun it is!  Researching so many horror hunks has also proven that it's not just young hot females that directors get naked before having them hacked to death.

Below are some of my favorite posts from the last decade. 2015 was certainly my biggest year with a salute to Wes Craven who had died earlier that year. One of my favorite horror classics was Horror of Evil which I posted about in 2014. I added a new video below.

Horror Hunks: Hywel Bennett in Twisted Nerve

'Tell Mommy all about it...'

I was a little hesitant when I saw the star of the 1968 British psychological thriller Twisted Nerve was Hayley Mills. I don't think I have actually ever seen Hayley in anything, but was aware she was a child star, and was in the original version of The Parent Trap. There was promise of male nudity, but at first glance, star Hywel Bennett, another actor I had not heard of, reminded me of a young Andrew Llyod Webber, and as talented as he is, I never saw anything remotely sexy, or sexual, about Mr. Webber.

I did love however like the synopsis that I read, and I especially loved the title. Twisted Nerve is such a great word combo, conjuring up both the physical, and emotional twisting of the fibers that transmit impulses and sensations from every part of our bodies to our brains. Bennett plays Martin, a socially awkward and sexually stunted man child whose alter ego, Georgie takes over for much of the film.

Bennett is great, and perfectly creepy as Georgie, especially as his obsession with Susan (Mills) grows. All of the supporting cast are great, but Bennett and Mills really hold your attention. Bennett oddly gets more sexy, the more consumed and disturbed his characters become. .

There are two brief rear nude scenes, both of the male lead, not the female. Strange for any film, let alone a 1968 drama. The nudity seems intentional though, used to contrast Martin and Georgie. Every time we may thing Georgie is just a disturbed little boy, we are reminded his is actually an older, more mature cold blooded killer
