Gratifying Guest Stars:

Over the last couple of months, my go to comedy has been re-runs of Fraiser. I didn't watch much of the NBC sit-com when it first aired, but am loving getting caught up with On-Demand. Last week, I caught a season 9 episode entitled Junior Agent, and in addition to enjoying guest stars Harriet Sansom Harris and Kristin Chenoweth, I fell quickly in lust with guest actor Chris Berg who was playing rival radio talk show host Dr. Zach.

The show wisely got the former Fargo South quarterback shirtless and in a towel for one of the episodes final scenes. Berg moved from the football field to acting in 2000 with his Fraiser episode being his first professional job. Despite his talent and great looks, Chris didn't have much luck in Hollywood with a few other TV guest spots (playing Handsome Guy on Will & Grace) and wearing a dark green mask in the Monica Lewinsky hosted Fox reality show Mr. Personality.

Although he became a finalist, Berg has no good memories of his time on the show and in part, it may have been one of the reasons he returned home to Fargo. Today, Berg is a successful television host and moderator on Valley News Live's politically charged show, '6:30 Point of View.' Although acting didn't lead to a long career, that gorgeous face is still in front of the camera, and a large local audience.

Tommy in the Tub by Chris A Freeman

'Tommy loved being naked and had wonderful command of a million facial expressions.'

Last month I profiled photographer Chris A. Freeman and his work with model Tommy Hemps. I loved Chris' images, and the beautifully senuous and sultry way Tommy interacted with the camera lens. In that first piece, (Intricate Irrelevance:) I left out this series of images, taken right after the window shots featured in the story last month.

It was actually these shots of Tommy in the tub that had me reaching out to Chris to feature their work together. As sensuous and sexy as Tommy was out of the tub, as the hot water gushes over his body, it seems to erotically charge him even further.

'After shooting several shots in front of a window, we moved into the shower and he literally turned to fire. His face went wild with sensuosity and the shot of him humping the side of the bath-tub is nothing short of electric. This shoot could have gone on for ever, but we both had commitments, so, it sadly had to end.'

Translucent by Hans Fahrmeyer

Translucent:
An object or material which allows light to diffuse through, highlighting,
but not completely unveiling what's behind.

As his book Water Moves proves, H2O is one of the many tools artist Hans Fahrmeyer used to create his stunning creations. Hans doesn't only submege many of his models within water, he also sprays, cascades and showers many of his models with water. Hans uses water almost like a light, tool to highlight and bring focus to parts of the male form. With water drenched material, Hans is able to capture body parts in a way that might be hidden if not covered by the wet, yet translucent pieces of material uncovering them.
