Green Carnation: Doing him Justas

'Justas cooling-off in our Portuguese villa's outdoor terrace shower, after a hard days shooting & as the sun melted onto the distant horizon. I loved how the watery sheen & halo effect of a warm sunset accented his incredible form; and how the pattern of shower droplets inflected with golden light was captured softly exploding from his body. For me this was a beautiful & perfect moment.'

Last December, I was fortunate to debut the work of Green Carnation Photography on FH, and his work with Joel Nestaras. (A Late Autumn's Day) I am working on a follow-up, but in the mean time wanted to give you a teaser of Green Carnation's work with the incredibly hot 20 year old Lithuanian model, Justas Jes. A Look Back: Lights, Camera, Relationship

Sex and the City
Lights, Camera, Relationship
Episode 5, Season 6 (2003)

If you regularly check out FH, you undoubted remember some of my previous posts featuring Entertain Me's Michael, a fellow blogger, writer and model. With his modeling, Michael has bared his personality, and his sumptuous body and aach day on his site, Michael bares his thoughts and musings on the entertainment industry, and much much more.

One of my favorite parts of Entertain Me is, not surprisingly, one of Michael's regular features, 'Sunday Schwing,' a salute to some of Hollywood's hottest hunks. FH has be fortunate to have stimulated a a few Sunday subjects, including a recent piece Michael did on actor Jason Lewis. Within the story, Michael linked back to a 2009 post I did featuring Jason and his role of 'Smith' Jerrod on Sex & The City. (HERE:)

I had forgotten how hot Jason was with his longer hair during his first season on the show. It also confirmed for me why I don't just focus on the man, or body, of the moment. These caps, from an early season six episode, Lights, Camera, Relationship, have me looking forward to finding and re-watching the episode once again!

Too Many Cooks! Franky by Brett Kiellerop

'Franky and Kev were fascinating guys. They are good mates, both from France and travelling together. They were wild! Mischievous, fun, and wildly inappropriate... they certainly kept me on my toes.'

I can't believe it took me so long to follow-up last summer's piece, The Joy of SeXy. Poor Franky has probably been back of the kitchen peeling potatoes just waiting.... It's time to bring Franky out into the sunlight and onto the beach.!

Many of you might remember the great story and images behind Wellington photographer Brett Kiellerop's images of Kev from the first piece. Kev and his buddy Franky were both chefs, who took some time out of the kitchen, to back pack their way through Australia. They did it pretty much without any cash, instead, taking any odd jobs they could find along the way which would take them to their next stop on the road.

One of those odd jobs, came after answering ad Brett had put out looking for nude models. Neither young chef had ever modeled before, let alone without clothing, but that adventurous nature that took them on the road, spurred them on to set up shoots with Brett. Given Franky's inexperience, Brett shot him doing what came naturally to him, while hanging out on the beach.

'Franky liked to do parkour, and we managed to get a couple of shots of him in the air... it was good experience for me :) He was always willing to try anything.'

Brett's images of both Kev and Franky beautifully exemplify why I so love featuring models, not in the modeling industry. Although Brett has certainly shot his fair share of professional models, like his work with Allen Lovell, (HERE:) Brett always manages to find great sexy, fun and adventurous young models wanting to not make a little extra money, but do so taking a risk and taking on a unique and exciting new experience.
